Power Meters

Using a power meter to measure your effort gives you the most accurate reading of how much work you are doing on your ride and exactly what you are getting out of your training. It was believed that measuring your heart rate gives an indication on how much effort you are putting in on your bike but this can vary greatly by physiological influences, including things like stress, lack of sleep, caffeine, temperature, time of day, dehydration and other factors.

Power is the perfect tool to understand how you are progressing and the best indicator of fitness gained and fatigue level. Simply put, if you want to know how you’re doing, check your power on your power meter!
