Norco is back!
Founded in 1964 the company was first created by Bert Lewis, operating from a converted chicken coop in rural British Columbia. Norco was influential in helping popularize BMX riding and was one of the first manufacturers of ten-speed bicycles.
Initially named Northern Cycle Industries, they began life as an assembly company, subsequently moving to manufacturing and abbreviating their name to ‘Norco’ so it would fit on their bicycle downtubes.
Norco has evolved over the years, but their collective passion and commitment to innovation will always stay the same. Their mountain biking roots run deep, with the inspiration of the Canadian mountains finding their way into every Norco design.
