What makes Denna Unique?
Here are some of the highlights of the Orbea Denna, showing what makes this e-road & gravel rig such an exceptional e-bike.

EASE OF USE
Shimano Ecosystem
Integration with Garmin
No distractions: Clean Cockpit
Rack & Fender Mounts
Tuned Shimano EP8 Motor
The heart of the Orbea Denna is its advanced drive unit, here’s a breakdown of what makes the Shimano EP8 RS GEN2 RC so different:

RS STANDS FOR RIDER SYNERGY:
Orbea’s very own firmware for Shimano EP motors. It allows rider and bike to work in perfect synergy and gives the most natural ride.

NEXT GENERATION:
Gen 2 means that this is the second generation of Orbea’s RS firmware. This increases the maximum torque to 85Nm.

TOTAL CONTROL:
RC is short for Road Control, Orbea’s specific motor tune for Denna. It gives natural, powerful assistance for narrower tyres. Where other brands use the same motor across different categories, Orbea believe that the only way to offer the performance is by customizing the motor to suit the application.
Orbea Gravel Geometry & Easygoing Handling
Denna’s geometry helps to make riding rougher surfaces easy. When designing, Orbea’s engineering team focused on four key areas to support precise handling, comfort and stability:
- A longer top tube that works with a shorter stem to give precise control.
- Optimised chainstay length. Long enough to smooth out the ride but short enough for quick handling.
- Size-tuned fork trail offers a tailored experience, no matter the rider size.
- A lower bottom bracket and a longer wheelbase to increase stability on rougher surfaces.

Balanced weight distribution, a low centre of gravity and gravel-tuned geometry make Denna easy to ride when things get difficult.
Here’s a more detailed look at Orbea Denna’s top components and innovations:

Take the Long Road
The higher energy density of Orbea’s proprietary batteries means more range for less weight. They are some of the lightest and slimmest on the market thanks to their clever SBS design and the latest generation cells.

50c Tyre Clearance
The addition of wider tyres and a frame which soaks up chatter means Denna is a safe companion on rougher paths. Wider tyres provide maximum grip and comfort and unlock new adventures.

Carbon Denna Fork
Longer legs for absorption & bump compliance
Stiff crown for rigidity & precise tracking
Fits 50c tires with 5mm clearance on each side
Full ICR internal cable routing

OMR Carbon
The design and layup of the OMR carbon frame allows Orbea to introduce controlled flex. The tube shapes allow vertical flex but resist lateral flex. All this smoothes out rough surfaces without losing composure or draining your energy.

Frame Asborption Points
Specifically shaping the frame at key points allows controlled vertical flex to absorb bumps and chatter coming from rougher paths. The tube shapes here resist lateral flex, meaning Orbea didn’t compromise Denna’s pedalling efficiency or handling.
