With their latest Performance Upgrade 2.0, Bosch puts even more control into your hands – with the potential to unlock better acceleration and even more power!
The free software update, available for compatible motors and bike models, boosts performance to as much as 120Nm of torque (up from 85Nm for CX and 100Nm for CX-R) and increases maximum rider support to 600% (previously 340% for CX and 400% for CX-R).
The update is slated to be released via the eBike Flow app on 4 May. The system can also sustain its peak output of 750 watts for longer periods. The enhanced rider support of up to 600% applies at speeds between 0 and 15 km/h, while the legal pedal-assist limit of 25 km/h remains unchanged.
Using sliders in the eBike Flow app, riders can fine-tune this added performance across different modes, achieving up to 40% more torque and up to 76% greater support than standard settings, depending on conditions.
