Preston Council promotes environmentally friendly travel and reducing our carbon footprint with their sustainability and carbon reduction aims which works hand in hand with the bike hub and cycling to work.  With so many cycle to work schemes available to employees and employers it’s a win-win for all whilst promoting green travel in the city.

Cycle to work schemes enable employees to get bikes and accessories tax-free, saving on average about half the cost. It's completely free to join, and easy to administer online. Current schemes available are Cyclescheme, Cycle2work and also the new Pro Cycle2Work which is opening up opportunities for the electric bike market thanks to it being the UK’s only Cycle to Work scheme with no £1,000 limit. Want to know more about Pro Cycle2Work and the Green Commute Initiative? You can get involved down at our new Leisure Lakes Bikes Hub!
