Keeping the NEW Garmin Edge 820 a secret for the last couple of weeks has been difficult but it’s finally here and we are excited to be one of the few to be getting our hands on some!

There has been talk for a while throughout the cycling industry about a new Garmin Edge 820 on the horizon, speculating whether there will be a new addition to the Garmin Edge range and a wish list of features it would have.

The new Garmin Edge 820 includes many of the popular Edge 1000 features, comes in at a lower RRP than the Edge 810 and boasts some new technology which is sure to make it the Garmin Edge of choice! The Edge 820 comes in three models that start at just £279.99.

The Garmin Edge 820 Explore GPS is a GPS unit boasting turn-by-turn navigation, GroupTrack when riding in a pack and full connectivity so you can back up/share your rides with fellow riders!

The Explore bundle is perfect for all riders whether you ride on the road or trail. This is the cheapest option of the Garmin Edge 820 family; featuring bike computer features and a built-in Garmin Cycle Map that includes bike-friendly trails and points of interest so you can find new places to ride all across the UK. It’s also the first of the entire Garmin Edge range with a high-resolution touch screen that's easy to read, even in sunlight, and the new GroupTrack feature lets you and your friends know each other's whereabouts, even when the road forks.
