Based predominantly at our Head Office in Leyland but will require travelling to our retail stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the main duties and responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Assisting the IT Manager<\/strong> in delivering comprehensive technical support across the organisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Installing, configuring and maintaining<\/strong> software and hardware components of computer and network systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diagnosing and troubleshooting<\/strong> software and hardware issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Repairing and replacing<\/strong> damaged computer and network components<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensuring the security<\/strong> of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Supporting people<\/strong> whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maintaining and updating<\/strong> technical documentation regularly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Testing<\/strong> new hardware and software before full-scale installation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Travelling to stores <\/strong>to help maintain or troubleshoot computer &amp; network issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The role also includes Head Office administration duties which include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Daily\/weekly reporting<\/strong> from our EPOS system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General EPOS administration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Supporting<\/strong> <strong>the Website &amp; Purchasing Managers<\/strong> with daily\/weekly tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Supporting the IT manager<\/strong> with information and data security checks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Company Manual updates<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00a0Assist with ad-hoc tasks <\/strong>and projects as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to setup a new Windows 11 computer for retail deployment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to install &amp; connect a new computer system and\u00a0all the various printers, networking equipment\u00a0at new sites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to troubleshoot &amp; swap out components as needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic DIY capability, including drilling holes for equipment mounting and cable management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid baseline understanding of networking principles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic admin skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong attention to detail &amp; accuracy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work as a team and independently<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Generous staff discount including discounted gym membership<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Free onsite parking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Potential Hybrid Working<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Workplace pension scheme<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>28 days holiday plus extra for long service<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Salary range \u00a329,000 to \u00a332,000 dependent on experience<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have the relevant experience, we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your CV and a brief cover letter to:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:careers@leisurelakesbikes.com\">careers@leisurelakesbikes.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the attention of Abi Johnston-Wroot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who we are: We are a family-run cycle retailer with stores nationwide and a thriving e-commerce operation.
