Our expert workshop teams provide professional servicing and repairs, ensuring we support our customers at every stage of their cycling journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passionate about cycling and committed to excellence, we\u2019re always looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team and help deliver the outstanding experience our customers have come to expect.<br><br><strong>Join the Team at Leisure Lakes Bikes \u2013 Daventry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you passionate about cycling and ready to take the next step in your retail management career?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to work along side the store manager in leading the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a positive and engaging environment for both customers and colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store in the managers absence, ensuring high standards of customer service, commercial performance, and team development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in leading, motivating, and developing the team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driving sales and achieving performance targets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivering outstanding customer service and product expertise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing stock levels, merchandising, and product availability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overseeing workshop bookings and service standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintaining excellent relationships with management and colleagues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recruiting, training, and coaching team members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with managing rotas, staffing levels, and day-to-day operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing action plans where required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking an individual who is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Passionate about cycling and the cycling industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An experienced supervisor or assistant manager with proven leadership skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commercially aware with a track record of achieving sales targets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer literate and confident using retail systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Previous experience within the cycling industry would be advantageous, although strong retail management experience from a similar environment will also be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Competitive salary ranging from \u00a327,250 &#8211; \u00a329,000 dependent on experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performance-related bonus opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>28 days\u2019 paid holiday per year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generous staff discounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to our Cycle to Work scheme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ongoing training and development opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The opportunity to work with some of the world\u2019s leading cycling brands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Working Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our stores operate between five and seven days per week, depending on location, with trading hours typically ranging from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
