Join the Team at Leisure Lakes Bikes – Daventry
We are looking for a Goods In / Out Operative to be responsible for receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods within a warehouse or distribution environment. The role helps ensure stock moves accurately and efficiently through the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming deliveries and checking goods against delivery notes
- Inspecting products for damage or shortages
- Recording stock movements using EPOS transfer systems or paperwork
- Storing goods safely in the correct warehouse locations
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Preparing goods for dispatch and loading vehicles
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Keeping the warehouse area clean and organised
Skills and Requirements:
- Good attention to detail
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good time management
- Physical fitness for lifting and moving stock
- Experience in warehouse or logistics work preferred but not always essential
Working Hours
Our stores operate between five and seven days per week, depending on location.
Team members typically work an average of 35–40 hours per week across five days. Regular weekend and bank holiday working will be required as part of the rota.
