Specialized have done it again! The 2010 version of the ever popular BG Sport mtb shoe has had a face lift which includes a red grip on the black sole, and as any specialized fan will know, red is an ever current theme throughout there vast portfolio of excellent products. These shoes are well made, comfortable and easy to adjust with the 3 velvo straps. Very comfortable and high quality. The ideal shoe for any mtber from the weekend occasional rider to the full on xc racer! They will take SPD's or can be used without on flats if required. All round one of the best value for money quality shoes I've tried. Well done L/Lakes for stocking a first rate shoe! (highly recommended, incase you weren't sure!)

I am a real stickler for research and before making the jump to SPDs was no exception. I finally settled on these shoes due to the time of year, weight, and fantastic design. I didn't want to spend hundreds of pounds either, in case i couldn't get used to them. I was absolutely amazed when they arrived and couldn't wait to fit the cleats to try them out. I had previously purchased the Shimano M520 pedals/ cleats and these shoes suit them perfectly. They are light and airy with great grip for the times the loose ground can't be conquered in the saddle! I am a size 9 shoe but after reading various forums decided to order a size 10(44) in these shoes. They fit like a glove. Easy to clean and qiuck to get on and off due to the velcro straps. I would recommend these to anybody for 3 season riding. Maybe i'll purchase a pair of seal skin socks and use them over the winter too. Excellent buy.
