The Specialized Sport MTB shoes are classic high-performance and high-value shoes that are always ranked for their lightweight and durable Body Geometry ergonomics and are SPD compatible.

Spread The Word

The Specialized Sport MTB cycling shoes are perfect for taking you the off road use as they are strong and durable with enough comfort to keep you riding for hours. These mens cycling shoes are specific for mountain bike riding as all the features make them durable to get off and walk when you need to and offer a bit of flex so you are able to walk with ease yet the SPD shoes are stiff for effective foot to pedal transfer so you can get the most out of your effort.

The mountain bike shoes are SPD compatible and will fit most mountain bike pedals with their 2-bolt SPD style cleat pattern. The Specialized MTB shoes use a lightweight injection composite sole with sturdy co-moulded lugs for hike-a-bike traction which makes it perfect for those uphills that you can’t quite manage on your bike. This Specialized shoe also features performance-enhancing BodyGeometry contours in the outsole and footbed to add comfort.

The Specialized Sport shoes have got a supple synthetic upper with mesh vents to keep air circulating throughout the shoe so your feet can breathe through the duration of the ride and another great feature is the new offset 3-strap Velcro closure for superior fit.

Our size guides will help you choose the most comfortable size for you. First though, you will need to measure yourself as accurately as possible, we’ve put together some tips to help you get the correct measurement.

Please note that each shoe brand is slightly different in their sizing e.g we find that Specialized shoe sizing is very accurate, while Shimano shoe sizes are on the small side. If you're normally a EU42, order size EU42 in Specialized shoes and size EU43 in Shimano shoes.

If you want to make sure you get the right sizing please visit one of our seven bike stores so you can try on different sizes and get advice of our expert staff.

For the best results take your foot measurements whilst wearing socks you would normally wear when riding.

Measuring your feet at home

 What you will need:

  • A piece of paper larger than your foot
  • A pencil
  • Ruler
  • Tape-measure

1. Place the piece of paper on the floor with your foot firmly pressed down and position your leg bent slightly forward so that your shin is slightly in front of your ankle.

2. Trace the outline of your foot and remember to measure your foot without shoes, but with socks similar to the ones you'll be wearing with the cycling shoes you are buying.

3. Draw straight lines touching the outermost points at the top, bottom, and both sides of your foot outline.

4. Use your ruler or measuring tape to measure the length from the bottom line to the top line that you drew in step three.

Be sure to hold the measuring tape straight, and find the closest mark that you can (for inches, use the closest 16th mark) - don't round up or down dramatically.

5. Many people will need a narrow or wide shoe so to determine this, measure the width of your foot by using your measuring tape or ruler to measure from the line on one side of your tracing, to the line on the other side.

6. Repeat these steps for your other foot, and use the larger of the two.

After you have your numbers written down, you'll want to subtract 3/16 of an inch from the numbers. This is to accommodate for the slight space between your actual foot and the line made by the pencil.

These final numbers are your actual foot measurements, you can convert them to the appropriate size and width using the charts below:
