The Cube Two15 SL Full Suspension Mountain Bike is race ready, there's no need to change a part to compete in the downhill World Cup. Each part is bombproof and has been carefully selected to ensure you can achieve your potential. The parts are attached to a frame made from an ultralite, very high tensile strength, heat-treated 7005 aluminium alloy that has been developed for the highest requirements. Its tubes are lightweight, stiff, and have been built through an advanced hydroforming process to give the frame its custom shapes and technical advantages. This manufacturing method reduces the number of welds; the weight is reduced while simultaneously increasing the reliability.
This Full Suspension DH Mountain Bike is perfect for any serious downhill rider looking to step up their game and achieve their full potential. The Two15 SL has a pair of extremely powerful Formula R.O hydraulic disc brakes; they allow you to have perfect control in hard terrain, adjustable bite point for perfect brake ergonomics, oval pistons for sheer brake power. Hydraulic disc brakes are essential for any high end mountain bikes and are very desirable amongst mountain bikers so that they can maintain complete control of their bike on any terrain.
The Two15 SL features Cube's Triple Linkage Kinematics (TLK); they can control the rate curve of the rear suspension as we wish. On long travel damping systems with short leverage it is difficult to control the rate curve and still use the full potential of the rear shock. With TLK we have the control to do this. The system works with three links. Two of the links control via the third link the curves of the shock pivot points. With the positioning and length of the links we have fine control of the curve of the shock compression to maximise the performance of the downhill bike chassis.
This Cube Mountain Bike has a fork and rear shock that have been perfectly tuned to the TLK system. It features a Fox 40 RC2 FIT Twin Crown Fork that's Kashima coated and offers a huge 200mm of travel. Accompanying the fork is the Fox DHX RC4 Rear Shock; it's Kashima coated, features a high/low speed compression, and has a bottom out adjustable BoostValve. In a brief summary, these suspension components will ensure that any tough terrains are dealt with comfort and ease.
Features
Aluminium Ultralite: Very high tensile strength heat-treated 7005 aluminium alloy is developed for the highest requirements. It is very stiff, fatigue resistant, corrosion resistant and non-shearing. Our Superlite tubes are triple butted, giving very light tube-sets with a high level of stiffness.
Advanced Hydroforming: The new models STEREO, FRITZZ and HANZZ are built using Advanced Hydroforming. Conventional hydroforming processes cannot achieve this custom shapes and technical advantages. As this manufacturing method reduces the number of welds, the weight is reduced while simultaneously increasing the reliability.
Triple Linkage Kinematics: With our patented Triple Linkage Kinematics (TLK), we can control the rate curve of the rear suspension as we wish.
Fox Customised Setup: Sophisticated suspension kinematics are only able to work correctly if the associated shock is properly tuned. We researched and found a specific shock setup in cooperation with Fox Racing Shox, using extensive testing for almost every CUBE full-suspension model.
FSP 4-Link: The key requirement is for continuously active and fully usable travel, with the rear triangle unaffected by pedalling or especially braking forces. There are a number of ways of achieving this – CUBE favours a four pivot chainstay construction. Here, one of the pivots is located between the dropout and the chainstay, ensuring that braking does not have a negative effect on the movement of the rear wheel. By carefully positioning the remaining pivots, we obtain the finest riding qualities for our full suspension bikes both uphill and downhill. This fact is proven by many top test results in leading magazines over the last few years.
X12 Through Axle: In this system, a cone is used to form a play-free connection. It is only necessary to tighten the axle from one side. The position of the wheel is done by an insert in the right-hand dropout which is secured by a bolt. The main advantages of the Syntace system are quick and simple changing of the wheel, reliable position of the brake disc and higher stiffness of the rear of the bike. This allows the assembly to be made lighter than a conventional through-axle.
Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. We use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.
