Description

The Cube Two15 Pro Full Suspension Mountain Bike 2013 combines great suspension, a lightweight frame, and professional parts to create a perfect bike for any serious downhill rider.

Spread The Word

The Cube Two15 Pro Full Suspension Mountain Bike combines a high tech frame with the finest suspension technology that has been perfected by the experts to create one of the best downhill bikes on the market. The frame is made from an ultralite, very high tensile strength, heat-treated 7005 aluminium alloy that's been developed for the highest requirements. The lightweight, stiff frame has been built through an advanced hydroforming process to give the frame its custom shapes and technical advantages. This manufacturing method reduces the number of welds; the weight is reduced while simultaneously increasing the reliability.

This Full Suspension DH Mountain Bike is perfect for anybody looking to have a better ride and push their limits further than ever before. This bike comes equipped with very powerful Formula The One disc brakes for perfect control in hard terrain; they are essential for any high end mountain bikes and are very desirable amongst mountain bikers so that they can maintain complete control of their bike. This bike also comes with strong downhill wheels backed up with Schwalbe Muddy Mary DH VertStar tyres, so you can tear through the muddy conditions with ease.

The Two15 Pro features Cube's Triple Linkage Kinematics (TLK); they can control the rate curve of the rear suspension as we wish. On long travel damping systems with short leverage it is difficult to control the rate curve and still use the full potential of the rear shock. With TLK we have the control to do this. The system works with three links. Two of the links control via the third link the curves of the shock pivot points. With the positioning and length of the links we have fine control of the curve of the shock compression to maximise the performance of the downhill bike chassis.

The Two15 Pro DH Mountain Bike also has one of the finest fork and shock combos on the market and it has an optimum leverage ratio curve through the complete suspension travel. It features a Fox 40R Twin Crown Fork with 20mm thru axles and an insanely big 200mm of travel that will feel like heaven. It also has a Fox DHX RC2 Rear Shock that has adjustable progression and an adjustable BoostValve. These components will ensure that your ride is smoother than ever before and you won't have to worry about any hard terrains.

This Cube Mountain Bike also has Shimano Zee components with Shadow Plus rear derailleur, as well as an Easton direct mount stem and extra wide 800mm Easton handlebar with 35mm Oversize clamp. To finish it off the bike has an E13 LS1+ chainguide with bashguard, to ensure you have a reliable performance, even in tough terrain.

Features

Aluminium Ultralite: Very high tensile strength heat-treated 7005 aluminium alloy is developed for the highest requirements. It is very stiff, fatigue resistant, corrosion resistant and non-shearing. Our Superlite tubes are triple butted, giving very light tube-sets with a high level of stiffness.

Advanced Hydroforming: The new models STEREO, FRITZZ and HANZZ are built using Advanced Hydroforming. Conventional hydroforming processes cannot achieve this custom shapes and technical advantages. As this manufacturing method reduces the number of welds, the weight is reduced while simultaneously increasing the reliability.

Triple Linkage KinematicsWith our patented Triple Linkage Kinematics (TLK), we can control the rate curve of the rear suspension as we wish.

Fox Customised Setup: Sophisticated suspension kinematics are only able to work correctly if the associated shock is properly tuned. We researched and found a specific shock setup in cooperation with Fox Racing Shox, using extensive testing for almost every CUBE full-suspension model.

FSP 4-Link: The key requirement is for continuously active and fully usable travel, with the rear triangle unaffected by pedalling or especially braking forces. There are a number of ways of achieving this – CUBE favours a four pivot chainstay construction. Here, one of the pivots is located between the dropout and the chainstay, ensuring that braking does not have a negative effect on the movement of the rear wheel. By carefully positioning the remaining pivots, we obtain the finest riding qualities for our full suspension bikes both uphill and downhill. This fact is proven by many top test results in leading magazines over the last few years.

X12 Through Axle: In this system, a cone is used to form a play-free connection. It is only necessary to tighten the axle from one side. The position of the wheel is done by an insert in the right-hand dropout which is secured by a bolt. The main advantages of the Syntace system are quick and simple changing of the wheel, reliable position of the brake disc and higher stiffness of the rear of the bike. This allows the assembly to be made lighter than a conventional through-axle.

Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. We use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.

Download the Cube Bike Sizing Guide PDF

The right size bike for your body size is essential to ensure the optimum experience, comfort and enjoyment as you ride. With sizing varying between the type of bike, the brand and even the model, getting the perfect fit can seem daunting. That’s why we’ve compiled a handy guide to help you get the correct size.

Measure Your Height

Our handy size charts match your height to the appropriate frame size so you need to be sure you’ve measured your height accurately.

  1. Take off your shoes and stand with your back against a wall.
  2. Make sure legs are together and your shoulders are back.
  3. Place a pencil on top of your head and mark the wall (the best and easiest way to do this properly is with a friend to help you).
  4. Measure from the floor to the pencil mark you have just made with a tape measure.

Range of Reach

For most people to get the right frame size, measuring your height will suffice. However, you may find that your height is on the borderline of the range we suggest for a particular frame. If this occurs you need to measure the range of your reach or “Ape Index”. This will ensure you get a comfortable distance between the handlebars and your saddle.

  1. Stand up straight with your back against a wall.
  2. Life your arms out horizontally either side of you.
  3. Measure the distance from fingertip of one hand to fingertip of the other. This will give you your arm span.
  4. Subtract your height from this figure to get your Ape Index.
  5. If the result is positive (your arm span is greater than your height) you should go for the larger size of bike.
  6. If the result is negative (your arm span is less than your height you need the smaller size.

Stand Over Height

You should also consider your inside leg measurement when choosing your bike to ensure adequate stand over height. Stand over height is the clearance between the top tube and the bottom of your crotch. For mountain bikes we recommend a distance of 2-4 inches and for road or hybrid bikes 1-2 inches of clearance is required. This will ensure comfort when you’re stopped and standing astride the bike.

Our bike sizing charts take stand over height into consideration but if you have a particularly long or short inside leg measurement in relation to your height you will need to bear this in mind when selecting your frame size.

Riding Style

The way you ride and the type of bike you are into will also impact the frame size you should choose. For example, a trail devotee looking for an aggressive ride may prefer a smaller, more manoeuvrable bike size. It all comes down to personal preference and how the bike feels to you.

Our sizing charts aim to be as specific as possible so you can look up the particular type, make and model of bike you’re looking for. Remember, the sizes given in our guides are suggestions and should be used for general advice only. For the best possible fit  we recommend popping in to your local Leisure Lakes Bikes store, or call 0800 083 0888 for expert advice tailored to you.
