The Cube Hanzz Pro Full Suspension Mountain Bike is your complete package for free-ride runs and features high quality components on a lightweight frame. It has an ultralite, very high tensile strength, heat-treated 7005 aluminium alloy frame that has been developed for the highest requirements. Its super-lightweight tubes are triple-butted to give them a high level of stiffness. The frame has been built through an Advanced Hydroforming process to give the frame its custom shapes and technical advantages. This manufacturing method reduces the number of welds in the bike and therefore reduces the weight while it simultaneously increases the reliability of the bike.
This Cube Mountain Bike has been designed for any mountain bikers that need an upgrade to push their limits further than ever before. It features high quality components, including a pair of powerful Formula RC hydraulic disc brakes to ensure you have maximum braking performance. Hydraulic disc brakes are essential for any high end mountain bikes and are very desirable amongst mountain bikers so that they can maintain complete control of their bike on any terrain.
The frame has an FSP 4-Link features that allows you to have continuously active and fully usable travel on your bike, with the rear triangle unaffected by pedalling or especially braking forces. Cube have used a four pivot chainstay construction on their Hanzz Models. This means that one of the pivots is located between the dropout and the chainstay, ensuring that braking does not have a negative effect on the movement of the rear wheel. By carefully positioning the remaining pivots, we obtain the finest riding qualities for our full suspension bikes both uphill and downhill.
The Hanzz Pro also has great suspension components; it has a RockShox Domain R Coil fork combined with a Fox VAN RC Rear Shock. The fork features coil-sprung suspension and offers 180mm of travel, whilst the rear shock offers adjustable preload, compression, and rebound. The shock has sophisticated suspension kinematics that are only able to work correctly if it’s properly tuned. We researched and found a specific shock setup in cooperation with Fox Racing Shox, using extensive testing for almost every Cube full-suspension model.
The Bike also offers some tough Shimano Zee parts attached to this ultra-lightweight frame including a Shadow Plus rear derailleur. The frame itself offers 190mm of rear wheel travel and features an ISCG chain guide mount that carries MRP double chainguide for reliable shifting performance even under extreme usage. The Hanzz Pro also has an FSA Gravity Moto X 24/36 crank with bashguard and it features a Spank Spike stem and Spike 777Evo handlebar for ultimate control in hard free-ride usage and in bike parks.
Features
Aluminium Ultralite: Very high tensile strength heat-treated 7005 aluminium alloy is developed for the highest requirements. It is very stiff, fatigue resistant, corrosion resistant and non-shearing. Our Superlite tubes are triple butted, giving very light tube-sets with a high level of stiffness.
Advanced Hydroforming: The new models STEREO, FRITZZ and HANZZ are built using Advanced Hydroforming. Conventional hydroforming processes cannot achieve this custom shapes and technical advantages. As this manufacturing method reduces the number of welds, the weight is reduced while simultaneously increasing the reliability.
Fox Customised Setup: Sophisticated suspension kinematics are only able to work correctly if the associated shock is properly tuned. We researched and found a specific shock setup in cooperation with Fox Racing Shox, using extensive testing for almost every CUBE full-suspension model.
FSP 4-Link: The key requirement is for continuously active and fully usable travel, with the rear triangle unaffected by pedalling or especially braking forces. There are a number of ways of achieving this – CUBE favours a four pivot chainstay construction. Here, one of the pivots is located between the dropout and the chainstay, ensuring that braking does not have a negative effect on the movement of the rear wheel. By carefully positioning the remaining pivots, we obtain the finest riding qualities for our full suspension bikes both uphill and downhill. This fact is proven by many top test results in leading magazines over the last few years.
X12 Through Axle: In this system, a cone is used to form a play-free connection. It is only necessary to tighten the axle from one side. The position of the wheel is done by an insert in the right-hand dropout which is secured by a bolt. The main advantages of the Syntace system are quick and simple changing of the wheel, reliable position of the brake disc and higher stiffness of the rear of the bike. This allows the assembly to be made lighter than a conventional through-axle.
Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. We use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.
