Our Customers Rights

Leisure Lakes Bikes is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law, this includes the Distance Selling Regulations which give you the right to return any goods or cancel an order within 7 days, Leisure Lakes Bikes have extended this period to 14 days.

This is to illustrate to our customers that we really do want you to be happy with the product you have ordered, we are here to help. Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Site Security

All credit and debit card payments both online and by telephone are processed through Protx (www.protx.com), who are one of the worlds leading online secure payment companies. Card details are handled solely by Protx, and are not stored or known to the Leisure Lakes website, nor available to Leisure Lakes personnel. Protx achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) and adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that customer's details remain secure throughout the transaction process. Ordering with Leisure Lakes Bikes is the most secure way to shop.

Leisure Lakes Bikes have always adopted a policy of protecting their customers both from a financial and data point of view.

We will only ask you for the information we need to complete your order and communicate with you should there be a need to during the process.

We appreciate you ordering from Leisure Lakes Bikes and promise never to share any of this information with a third party unless requested to do so by yourselves

Stock Accuracy

We have a vast range of products on our website, a majority we hold in stock at all times, however there will always be occasions when an item you order will be out of stock. When this occurs we will call or email within 1 working day of your order informing you of an expected delivery date and you can continue with the order or cancel it.

Accuracy of Website Content

Our website team at Leisure Lakes Bikes work tirelessly to create the images and descriptions featured on our site and every effort is made to be as accurate as possible.

However we are all human and mistakes will happen, so if you are unhappy with a product purchased from the site please return it to us within 14 days unused and we will exchange or refund accordingly

Delivery

Where can Leisure Lakes Bikes deliver to

Deliveries will be made by Royal Mail, TNT, Parcel force or Night freight depending upon weight and destination. All deliveries will need to be signed for.

Please supply us with a delivery address where there is likely to be someone available to sign for your order during normal working hours

If there is no one at the delivery address when the Royal Mail tries to deliver, they will leave a card indicating which post office you can collect your package from.

In the case of one of our couriers attempting to deliver when no one is at the delivery address they will leave a card with the telephone number of their local depot, you can call them and arrange to collect from the depot or arrange a convenient time for them to re-deliver.

When signing for any delivery from us please inspect the packaging and if there are signs of damage please write the word 'damaged' next to where you sign the consignment document this is particularly important when receiving a Bicycle.

Delivery times

Accessory orders – if your order is placed before 2pm on a week day and it is in stock it will be despatched that day and be with you within 3 working days. Any orders received after 2pm we will endeavourer to despatch the same day, but may be despatched the following day and again will be with you within 3 working days.

Orders placed over the weekend will be despatched on Mondays if the item ordered is in stock.

If you place an order for an item that is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you within 1 working day of the order being placed to advise you of the expected delay, either by email or telephone.

Bike orders – All bikes are fully built by our fully trained mechanics before despatch, so this does mean some delay from the time of ordering to the actual despatch date, on receipt of your order we will contact you by email or phone and inform you of the day we will deliver your new bike

Returns – Accessories, Clothing etc

1. Leisure Lakes Bikes have supplied you with the product you ordered in good condition, but you do not wish to keep it for whatever reason.

Return it to us in a resalable condition ,within 14 days to the returns address below, advising us of whether you require an alternative or a refund, and we will refund the full value of the goods excluding any carriage charge on receipt of your returned goods.

We advise you use a 'signed for service' when returning goods.

2. Leisure lakes Bikes have supplied you with the incorrect item, Return it to us in a resalable condition ,within 14 days to the returns address below and we will exchange it for the correct item refunding any postage you incurred in returning it to us. Alternatively we will refund the full value of the goods including any carriage charge, plus the postage cost you incurred returning the incorrect item to us.

Returns – Bikes

1. If you receive your bicycle and it needs returning to us, please keep it in the box it arrived in and call us 01772 644340 and will arrange a collection.

2. If we have delivered the bicycle you ordered, but upon inspection you decide it is not the bike for you, we will charge you £15.00 for the collection.

Please do not ride the bike as a full refund cannot be given if the bike has been used

3. If we have sent you the incorrect bicycle we will cover the cost of collection and delivery of the correct model.
